Frequently Asked Questions
- How many
people can the boat carry?
The boat has been approved by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry up to 100 passengers, all of whom can be on the upper deck at one time or dispersed throughout the boat. During inclement weather, the interior space can easily handle up to 60 people. Serendipity Hospitality currently limits the number of overnight guests to a maximim of 12.
- Can I drive
the boat myself?
No, our current registration and insurance
requirements dictate that we provide a licensed Captain
and crew to support your needs. A Captain is
required any time the vessel is moving under its own
power or is not secured to a dock. Serendipity
Hospitality reserves the right to determine the number
of crew required based on your planned events. The
cost for the crew is included in any cruise reservation.
- Does
Serendipity Houseboat provide fuel for our getaway?
Yes, the cost of fuel is included in our rental and cruise rates.
